About Sunny Bunny Festival

Sunny Bunny is a film festival that has grown out of the “Sunny Bunny” program at the Molodist festival, which has been running since 2001. The festival aims to become an important platform for representing the LGBTQIA+ community in Ukraine and the world, and to promote change on the path to equality.

The Sunny Bunny festival program includes an international competition of feature-length fiction films, out-of-competition screenings of fiction, documentary, short and classic films, as well as special events and discussions.

“This is a great honour for us to partner with the Sunny Bunny Film Festival, which is a landmark event for Ukrainian society,” says gallery partner Slav Fokin. “We believe that art can be a powerful tool for change, and we hope that the screenings and discussions will help raise awareness of the important issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community in Ukraine.”
